Suffocation and Carcass killed last night.
Suffocation played the new song that another person posted a video of earlier. Their new album will be awesome.
Carcass mentioned getting signed to Earache, but also mentioned that these sets of shows could possibly be their last shows in North America; however, the second statement seemed to be made in an attempt to encourage everyone to go crazy- it was the last few songs of their set, and a lot of people there yesterday were there all day.
Sweet! I'm seeing them April 7th with Psycroptic, Decrepit Birth, Whitechapel, and Veil of Maya 
, so I'm definitely planning on showing up late. Do you know if they played Liege of Inveracity and Synthetically Revived?

I don't subscribe to the whole "ruin your legacy" theory because I'd rather have a new carcass album that sucked than no new one. But I'd be real skeptical about a new carcass album being very good. It surely wouldn't be grind and melodic death has been ground to pulp. Maybe they'd make a melodic grind album.

I'm not going to argue that; I'd rather he used compression like most other death metal drummers, but when you are playing as fast as Decrepit Birth is playing, its hard to get each hit as perfect as the last. Not condoning it, but.
Dude is retarded good regardless of using triggers. But maybe that is one reason I wasn't as big on that album as I thought I'd be.

i have nothing to contribute to this thread other than i feel the need to share the fact that i used to see this band like twice a month on really shitty death/thrash shows that i used to go to when i was like 16. also, that i am pleasantly surprised to see Lennis is still around, in this band now, and still holding his bass like that. lol.
